This 6×8 inch acrylic was painted on location in the rain on Memorial Day. While I worked alongside a friend, life carried on across the street—a family gathering, extra cars in the driveway, and the feeling of a holiday spent together. A truck towing a boat slipped away before I could include it, leaving only the memory behind. For me, this painting is as much about the day as it is about the scene. The frame is included with this one.
